Cambridge Who's Who Names Max Lederer Professional of the Year in Publishing
Max Lederer practiced law for 10 years in the U.S. Army before joining Stars and Stripes

These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

With 20 years of experience in the publishing world and a background in law, Mr. Lederer possesses expertise in legal matters as well as management. As the publisher of Stars and Stripes, an independent news agency for the U.S. Military, he is responsible for overseeing the business and editorial news content of Stars and Stripes, handling finances, and deciding on concept methods for covering the military community through the company's website, newspaper, weekly products and magazine. In addition, Mr. Lederer conducts research for the publication and utilizes his proficieny in management to provide leadership to his fellow staff members.

Attributing his success to his hard work and preparation, Mr. Lederer became involved in his profession after he was first hired as a general counsel. Previously, he practiced law for 6 years in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lederer earned a JD from the University of Richmond School of Law and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as the ABA. In the near future, Mr. Lederer plans for continued professional growth while transforming the news outlet into a true media organization.
